Notifications
The bell in the header collects everything meant for you: new episodes of the shows you follow, replies in the community, and notices from the team.
The short version
New-episode alerts come from your watchlist. Put a show in your Watching folder and each new episode appears under the bell's Anime tab. There is no separate follow button to press.
The three tabs
- Anime: new episodes for titles in your Watching folder, from the last 30 days. This is the tab the bell opens on.
- Community: activity around your posts and comments.
- System: announcements and account notices from the site.
- Each tab has Mark all as read.

The bell shows the latest few. The Notifications page keeps the full history, split into the same Anime, Community and System tabs.
Tidy up
NotificationsMark all read / Clear all
Mark all read keeps the entries but drops the unread count. Clear all empties the tab you are on.
Choosing what you hear about
Alerts follow your Watching folder, so it is also the switch: moving a show out of Watching, to On-Hold or Watched for example, stops its episode alerts without losing it from your list.
