Requesting Anime
Can't find a show? Ask for it. Requests go into a public queue the team works through, and you can follow each one from pending to available.
The short version
Sign in, open Requests from the menu, type the title and press Request next to the right result. That's it. If the name search cannot find it, request it by its MyAnimeList or AniList ID instead.
Making a request
Search by name
MenuRequestsSearch
Start typing a title and matches appear as you type. Press Request on the one you want.
Or use an ID
RequestsRequest fromMyAnimeList / AniList
Choose the site, then paste the number from the anime's address there. On MyAnimeList, for example, it is the number after /anime/ in the link.
Follow it in the queue
RequestsQueue
Every request shows its status. Open one to see its details.
What the statuses mean
- Pending: received and waiting for review.
- Approved: accepted and being added.
- Available: it is on the site now. Go watch it.
- Rejected: it cannot be added for now.
Good to know
- A title that is already on the site, or already in the queue, cannot be requested twice. Search first.
- Each account can send a handful of requests a minute and a few dozen a day.
- An anime page with no episodes yet shows a Request to be Added button that does the same thing.
- Importing a list from MyAnimeList or AniList files requests for the missing titles automatically.
